We study Physical Education in this program because it is extremely important for students’ physical well-being and mental well-being. Not only is it important to teach so students can get active which promotes exercise and increased heart rate but it also has a lot to do with cognitive development and mental well-being as well. Students who get the chance to be active throughout the school day are able to better focus in the classroom. Their endorphins are released and they are more relaxed after P.E. Physical Education as a class can be a resource and a means in preventing future adult conditions like high cholesterol, diabetes, cancer,  and heart conditions. Daily physical activity, as well as a balanced diet, can help prevent these conditions.
