Pilates (intermediate)

Yesterday I finally had time to workout. I have been so overwhelmed with school and other things going on in my life that I’ve pushed working out aside. I always feel so much better when I am consistently working out as it really helps me with my mood. Yesterday’s video was an intermediate Pilates class. It was 20 minutes long so I thought it wouldn’t be too bad especially since I haven’t worked out in a little bit. This video was super effective and I am very sore today. I felt like I lost my momentum and my core strength was not there. I struggled a bit but I still tried to do each exercise. This one was definitely more challenging but I would do it again. Some of the moves included: a frog crunch (at least that’s what I call it). It is when you do a normal crunch but instead has your legs in a butterfly stretch position. Another move we did, were mountain climbers which are one of my least favourite exercises but very effective. A lot of the moves we did looked so cool. I tried my best to mirror Nicole, but it was hard. I am excited about my next pilates video.
